Using Project35 in Avian Flu Outbreaks...

This model was derived from the paper-based forms the UK's HPA uses to investigate disease outbreaks for avian flu. I believe that Project35 could be used as a data entry tool for rapidly gathering information that could be used to help monitor the spread of diseases. Desktop Project35 could be used in the headquarters building of a disease investigation. Tablet Project35 could be used by mobile health care workers to gather the same information. Using Project35, data collection would yield uniform data sets expressed as XML files. The collection of data sets could be used by analysis programs to produce results that could inform decision making activities for epidemiologists.
